1. To beat a player, in any type of competitive card playing game by one unit. i.e. 3-2 and K-Q. Usage “You horshammed me!”

Costa Rican president has swine flu

The reason this was interesting to me, was that when I was working on Howard Dean’s campaign part of his stump speech was listing all of the countries that had better healthcare than the US and he would always end by saying “even the Costa Ricans have better healthcare.” I guess he was wrong about that…
